so i haven't been posting photos as often or as regularly as i intended to, but here is one taken on one of my last hikes prior to ankle surgery. it was a beautiful damp and foggy day....

Welcome to my photo collection.  This is an experiment - whether I stick with this is unknown, but I hope to use this to share some of my favorite photography.  For now, the collection is called ForrestalFoto.  That could change, or it might not.  But for now, it's a way to share some of my photos, as I continue to use my old point-and-shoot and learn to use my new d-slr. This first photo was taken with the slr, on the first hike of 2011.
